Clarkia Fossil Hunt

The perks of being a biology student at GU is that we have access to some of the most amazing opportunities in the world (seriously)! For example, I spent eight hours at the Clarkia, Idaho fossil site. The site is considered one of the richest fossil beds in the world and most of the fossils contain organisms that went extinct 20 MILLION YEARS AGO!

I know that I only found leaves but still, these are amazingly well preserved!
